Dr. Wilke is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. He completed a general surgery residency as well as a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics.

With board certification from the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Wilke has received numerous honors and awards. He was named a “Top Doctor” by Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine multiple times and designated as one of the “Top Doctors for Women” by Minnesota Monthly Magazine for a number of years. In addition, Twin Cities Business Magazine listed Dr. Wilke as one of the “Top 100 People to Know” due to his expertise with facial rejuvenation, helping his patients look youthful while maintaining a natural appearance.

As a member of multiple professional associations, Dr. Wilke continues to broaden his medical knowledge and expertise. His memberships include American College of Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Minnesota Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Hennepin County Medical Society and Minnesota Medical Association.

Dr. Wilke donates his time for medical mission trips to third world countries to provide free reconstructive procedures to those that otherwise would not have access to surgical treatment. Many of the patients are children with congenital deformities, such as cleft lip and palate, or have suffered burns. Dr. Wilke feels privileged to be able to use his surgical abilities to help improve the lives of others. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Julie, and their two kids.
